About Joris Lechêne
Joris Lechêne is a trainer in anti-racism, bias, and decoloniality with lived experience of autism and ADHD. As a Black, Queer, Neurodivergent individual, Joris draws on his unique perspective, practice of sociology and his background in architecture to explore and dismantle systemic inequalities. Having lived and worked in five countries across three continents, he brings a wealth of experience to his training and social commentary.

Anti-Racism and Decoloniality
Joris's workshops tackle systemic inequalities, privilege, and bias through a decolonial lens. He combines his sociological practice with lived experiences to create impactful content and strategies.
Architecture/Sociology of the Built Environment
With a background in architecture, Joris examines how our built environment reflects and reinforces social dynamics, hierarchies, and implicit societal messages.
Neurodivergence and Intersectionality
Joris speaks to his audiences on issues of accessibility and inclusion, drawing from his experiences as a neurodivergent individual to highlight the intersectionality of race, class, and sexuality.
